Asamoah Gyan career
Asamoah Gyan focused on nurturing his football career, back in 2003. By this time he was around 16 years of age considering the fact that he was born in November 22nd 1985; Asamoah Gyan age now is 32 years. Liberty Professionals a Ghanaian Premier League club joined Gyan in 2003. He did not disappoint and within 16 matches that he appeared, he scored a total of 10 goals. Gyan was signed to Udinese in the same year, 2003; he spent around 2 years on a loan playing for ‘Serie B’ club - Madena. In more clear words, Gyan scored a total of 8 goals during his 2006-2007 season, which was quite impressive. Unluckily, Gyan suffered an injury that was in his 2007-2008 season. This means that he never appeared to play from January 08 for Udinese. He only played a total of 13 ‘Serie A’ matches in which he scored only 3 times. In July the same year 2008, Asamoah was signed to Stade Rennais – Ligue 1 club. His 4 years deal contract with his new club was on a transfer fee of €8 million.
