Prophet Eric Boahen Uche has caused a stir online after sharing a prophecy concerning the January 2026 New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries and the 2028 elections.

The Ghanaian man of God, who is the founder and leader of the Reign House Chapel International, spoke about his prophetic insights for September and beyond.

His interview with the VimBuzz YouTube channel came after the Akwatia by-election, where the National Democratic Congress (NDC) defeated the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to win the seat left vacant by the death of former MP, Ernest Yaw Kumi.

Prophet Uche prophesies about NPP primaries

In a TikTok video seen by YEN.com.gh, Prophet Eric Boahen Uche claimed that he had seen the results of the 2028 general elections as well as the 2026 NPP presidential primaries.

Several senior NPP politicians, including former Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, former Assin Central MP, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, and Abetifi MP, Bryan Acheampong, are all contesting to be named as the next flagbearer of Ghana’s main opposition party.

The elections have been scheduled for January 31, 2026.

Following the NPP flagbearer elections, the winner is expected to contest against the next NDC flagbearer in the 2028 general elections.

President Mahama has served two terms and can no longer compete, but frontrunners for the NDC nomination include National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu, Finance Minister Cassiel Ato Forson, and Chief of Staff Julius Debrah.

According to Prophet Uche, he has already seen the results of these elections in the spiritual realm.

"The 2028 election has already been held in the spiritual realm, and I know who will win. I know everything that will happen. I also know who has won the NPP primaries. I would share more details soon because some people have come to see me for some spiritual interventions. But I know everything that would happen,” he said.

Social media users shared mixed reactions to his latest prophecy, with some challenging the accuracy of some of his previous doom proclamations.

Prophet Uche's Ernest Kumi prophecy resurfaces

Previously, YEN.com.gh reported that a doom prophecy by Prophet Eric Uche about Akwatia MP Ernest Kumi's death resurfaced after his passing.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh on the TikTok page De Prince Gh, Prophet Uche addressed congregants of his church and emphatically stated that some seats in Parliament were going to become vacant.

Ghanaians on social media shared mixed opinions in reaction to the apparent prophecy shared by the popular prophet.
