Celebrated media personality Tima Kumkum has explained why she has not been wearing her wedding ring lately, as she shut down divorce rumours.

Tima Kumkum's message about her wedding ring
On Instagram, Tima shared a video of her finger and how it had been irritated by her ring, which was given to her by her husband, Dominic Duodu, on their wedding day.
In the caption of the post, the HitzFM and AdomFM presenter trashed the divorce rumours and noted that while she did not want to address the matter in the first place, many people had been seeing her without her wedding ring.

She noted that she had been battling skin irritation from wearing her wedding ring, hence the reason she had to take a break for her finger to begin healing.
"Hello lovely people 💕, I initially didn’t want to address this, but I believe it’s important to clear the air. Recently, I experienced a skin reaction from wearing my ring, so I had to pause for some time to allow proper healing. 🙏🏽"
Giving an update on the healing process, the mother of three noted that thankfully, her finger had been improving and very soon, people would be seeing her with her wedding ring again.
"Thankfully, I am now fully recovered and you’ll soon see me wear my rings again. ✨ Please rest assured there’s nothing more to it, no hidden issues, no cause for concern."
In her note to her Ghanaians, Tima Kumkum advised persons to pay attention to how their skin reacted to the jewellery they wore.
"A little advice: if you are the type that reacts to jewelry like myself, kindly remove your rings before bedtime and put them back on when you’re stepping out. This way, you may avoid the discomfort I went through. I have been advised, and I’m passing the same on to you 💡"
In her concluding remarks, she noted that;
"Thank you sincerely for the love, care, and concern. Meda mo nyinaa ase pii ❤️🙏🏽."
