Bishop Sam Owusu, the leader of the Pottersville Church, recently criticised the founder of the Believers Worship Centre over his well-documented practice of selling sobolo.

In a video seen by YEN.com.gh, he slammed the preacher for allegedly selling the locally manufactured drink to his followers at exorbitant prices, claiming it has the power of the blood of Jesus.

“There’s a preacher selling sobolo, and the sobolo comes in different sizes. Some cost GH₵ 5,000, there are some going for GH₵ 10,000, and the cheapest sobolo you can get is GH₵ 500. And some people are made to buy 5 or 10 bottles at a time,” he said.
