Taking to her X account, Lydia Forson shared something interesting about her mother and her love for collecting coins.
Sharing details about Mrs Forson's coin collection, Lydia mentioned that whichever country her mother travelled to, she safeguarded the money, especially the coins.
Sharing pictures on social media, the star actress noted that her mother had a penny from 1952 and had coins from each year she and her siblings were born.

Lydia further stated that her 73-year-old mother also documented major events in her diary and could recall exactly when certain events took place years ago.

Traders in Ketu South refuse 20 pesewas
YEN.com.gh reported that traders in towns such as Agbozume, Denu, and Aflao within the Ketu South Municipality gradually stopped accepting the 20 pesewas coin in daily transactions.

As a result, items that should cost 20p are now being sold for 50p, creating frustration among people living in that region.
The Ketu South Assembly announced plans to roll out a sensitisation programme to address the situation and remind traders that the coin remains legal tender.
