Kofi Kinaata buys Gobɛ in Togo

It was a moment to savour for Kinaata, who recorded a video in his car, enjoying boiled beans and plantain, a meal popularly known as Gobɛ in Ghana.

The musician, who also happened to be jamming to his recently released song, It Is Finished, in his car, jokingly stated that there would always be enough Gobɛ to eat.

"Everything can get finished, but not beans. I trust my Daavi," he said happily while showing off the meal.

By mentioning Daavi, the rapper was referring to his Gobɛ seller. He also disclosed that she was based in Togo, necessitating him and his friend to travel all the way from Accra to enjoy the meal.

"The bean(s) seller is located in Togo. When the transfer window opened, we quickly went to buy (from) her. When she came, she delivered 4-4-2," he said in the video.

Kofi Kinaata showed off his meal packed in cassava leaves with the beans, plantain and egg neatly arranged.

YEN.com.gh reported that Ghanaian rapper Kofi Kinaata melted hearts after an emotional encounter with one of his biggest fans, an elderly woman who had long admired him from afar.

The touching moment, captured by YouTuber Baba Adam Media in Effiakuma, Takoradi, showed the overjoyed woman jumping on Kinaata and hugging him tightly as they met for the very first time.
