Yaytseslav: Russian Ambassador Gives Update On Extradition Efforts Of Man Who Secretly Filmed Women

The Russian Ambassador to Ghana has given an update on Vladislav Aleksandrovich Liulkov, the man who secretly recorded women during a visit to Ghana.

Andrei Ordash assured that the incident remains a priority for the Russian law enforcement agencies.

In an interview on August 19, Ordash stressed that Russina was willing to cooperate with the Ghanaian authorities "within the existing legal and treaty framework."

"I am convinced that all issues relating to this incident must be resolved through cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries."

The ambassador also noted that the Liulkov case has highlighted the need to draw up a document regulating Ghana-Russia relations in the field of extradition.

About Vladislav Aleksandrovich Liulkov

Liulkov, known online as Yaytseslav Truhov, is a 36-year-old Russian man who attracted widespread condemnation after allegedly using Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses to secretly record women in Kenya, Ghana and other countries.

His approach reportedly involved befriending women in public spaces, exchanging numbers and sometimes inviting them back to his apartment, all while continuing to film without their knowledge.

The videos, which showed how he invited women to his apartment after proposing or enticing them, were posted on TikTok and Telegram.

Minister for Communications Sam George told the press on February 18 that some victims have filed official complaints following the discovery of the secret recordings, which violated their privacy.

George also stressed that not all the women had sexual interactions with Lyulkov, per the evidence available.

Victim breaks silence

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh reported that an alleged victim of Yaytseslav's video scandal had publicly spoken amid backlash over their recorded escapade.

In a video, the young Ghanaian lady detailed her interactions and first encounter with the Russian content creator, triggering reactions on social media.
