"I am in pain. I'm blind, therefore I can't see anything. I didn't know I'd give birth to triplets when I went to deliver. Life is difficult. I have not even eaten since morning. I can't cater for their needs," she told Etwereso Mabaawa Hemaa in a Facebook video.

Through the philanthropist's social events, the mother of one female and two male children pleaded for assistance from the general public and charitable organisations.

Following the heartfelt appeal, the philanthropist's supporters gave money and other items to help the triplet's mother and her husband.

Online users were moved by Etwereso Mabaawa Hemaa's presentation of the items which included the tricycle and money to the couple.
