Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has finally spoken out after his ex-girlfriend, Camila Mayan, sued him.
Mac Allister separated from his girlfriend of five years shortly after starring in Argentina's World Cup win in 2022.

When did Mac Allister and Camila Maya break up?
The two looked cosied up during on-pitch celebrations after Argentina beat France at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar. The separation is said to have come a few days later, with Mac Allister securing a big money move to Liverpool six months later.
Why Mac Allister's ex has sued him
Mayan filed a lawsuit, claiming Mac Allister should be compelled to compensate her financially for all the years they lived abroad. She has also accused the former Brighton star of publicising the split and being unfaithful to her with his childhood friend, Ailén Cova, Mac Allister's current girlfriend.
Two years after the split, Mac Allister has finally addressed the matter, claiming that the relationship had reached a dead end.
"There was no more relationship," he told the Mirror, "She took her path, I took mine, and that’s it."
The midfielder also exuded confidence in how the proceedings would go, saying that he is 'calm.'
"I think it's normal in a relationship; she made the decision to come out and make public things that she felt or that she believes happened, but I know how things went, and that's why I'm very calm."

Mac Allister has featured 17 times this season, scoring once, under new boss Arne Slot. The Reds are flying under the Dutchman, topping both the Premier League and Champions League tables with a third of the season done.
