Walid Fuseini Neymar joins Asante Kotoko
According to Asante Kotoko's official website, Walid Neymar joined Asante Kotoko on August 26 of this year after signing a three-year deal.
The skillful player is set to add both versatility and quality to the Asante Kotoko squad, capable of operating centrally, in an advanced attacking role, or out on the right wing.

Fuseini brings significant experience, having racked up 81 appearances in the Ghana Premier League and featuring in four CAF Confederation Cup matches, highlighting his impact at both domestic and continental levels.
In an interview with Kotoko Media, the talented footballer expressed his excitement and ambitions ahead of his debut:
“This is the moment I’ve been waiting for. Playing for a club of Kotoko’s stature is a dream, and I believe my qualities can make a real impact here. I’m eager to contribute immediately, especially with our return to African competition.''

Kotoko vs. Kwara United CAF CC match
Meanwhile, according to GhanaSoccerNet, the Porcupine Warriors, who parted ways with head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum before the end of last season, will face Nigeria’s Kwara United in the CAF Confederation Cup Preliminary Round 1.
The first leg is scheduled for September 21 at the Accra Sports Stadium, with the return leg set six days later in Nigeria.
In preparation for the clash, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has named the match officials for the first-leg tie, ensuring the encounter is officiated at the highest level.
Ivorian referee Patrick Tanguy Jean Philippe Vlei R will take charge of the match, with his compatriots Nouho Ouattara and Lancine Kone serving as Assistant Referees.
Another Ivorian, Ibrahim Kalilou Traore, has been appointed as the Fourth Official, while the experienced Gambian, Bakary K. Jammeh, will oversee the fixture as Match Commissioner.
Kwabena Owusu wants to join Asante Kotoko
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Black Stars striker Kwabena Owusu has expressed his desire to play for Asante Kotoko in the upcoming season.
The striker made a public appeal on radio, urging the life patron of the Kumasi-based club to present him with a favourable offer.
