IMANI boss Franklin Cudjoe 'takes cover' after the murder of Anas' partner

Managing Director of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, has said that it is time to retreat and reflect following the murder of Ahmed, one of Anas' partners.

On Thursday, January 17, 2019, YEN.com.gh published that Anas' partner and lead investigator at Tiger Eye PI, Ahmed Hussein-Suale was shot and killed on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 by some gunmen.

The murder incident got many Ghanaians surprised and talking because such incidents hardly occur in Ghana.

One popular personality who wrote a post in relation to the incident is Managing Director of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe.

In a Facebook post sighted by YEN.com.gh on Franklin's wall, the researcher expressed fear and said that he must be careful following Ahmed's murder.

Franklin wrote 'I keep being told by many that, Franklin, be careful, these people can kill you for speaking. Looks like time to believe it and take action. Time to retreat and reflect."

The post depicts that Franklin Cudjoe is scared for his life because he is one person who speaks about corrupt practices of politicians in Ghana.

Social media users on seeing the post had this to say:

Aaron Eggley wrote: "Massa, free your mind wai. Nobody get bullet for you"

Olivia Okailey Okai also wrote: "Eii efo me and you go dey ga chop kenkey for a long time wai. This murder is so unfortunate but when it comes to issues we just ask our police investigate thoroughly"

AlkebulanVi Akofa Akofa advised: "Don't be cowed into submission bro. Take care of your personal security but live your life. God planted u on this part of the planet for a reason"

Yao Francis Kumado commented: "Hmmm, we are all not safe"

Prosper Tsatsu also commented: "My brother just be careful and watch your back always"

In a related development, Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has debunked allegations that he has knowledge of Ahmed's killing after Anas published a video of the legislator revealing pictures of Ahmed.

Meanwhile Kennedy Agyapong has hinted of traveling outside the country but will be back on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, to answer any questions from the police if there is any.
