The former Lynx Entertainment signee, best remembered for his hit track "You Sey Wey Tin", was captured on camera at what appeared to be an indoor social gathering in the United States.

In the footage, veteran musician Zigi was seen dancing alongside a female associate identified as Magdalene, looking noticeably different from his days as a prominent figure in Ghanaian music.

The clip was shared on TikTok by blogger Nana Yaw Somuah of Daily Pulse GH, accompanied by the on-screen caption:

Who is former Lynx Entertainment signee Zigi?

Zigi, real name Kweku Sarpong Plahar, is a veteran Ghanaian musician who rose to prominence in the 2010s under music executive Richie Mensah's Lynx Entertainment label alongside other top acts like rapper Asem and Eazzy.

He initially began his career in the entertainment industry as a break dancer and model for several high-profile brands.

Zigi signed with Lynx in 2009 and released his debut album in 2011, which featured his two memorable and popular songs, U Sey Wey Tin and Amanda.

The two songs earned him several nominations at both the 2011 4syte Music Video Awards and the 2012 Ghana Music Awards, where he won the Afro-Pop song of the Year award at the event.

Following a successful short spell in the Ghanaian music industry, Zigi subsequently took an hiatus from music and has largely stayed outside the spotlight for many years.

In 2023, the ex-Lynx Entertainment signee graduated from the university with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing.
