The Chief Executive Producer of Sompa Nkommo, IBJ, has provided an update on the possible return of former Sompa FM staff, Odifour Paul Kwabena.

In a video, he asked viewers to exercise patience and assured them that their favourite bell boy would soon return to the show.

IBJ made the remarks during a recent public encounter with Odifour Paul Kwabena.

In December 2024, management of Kumasi-based Sompa FM sacked Paul Kwabena Yeboah, a panellist on its flagship programme, Sompa Nkommo.

Simply known as Odifour Paul Kwabena, he gained fame as the 'bell boy' for the show hosted by Oheneni Adazoa.

A few weeks before the news of his dismissal broke, Odifour Paul had been absent from Oheneni Adazoa's show and had been sorely missed on social media for his antics.

IBJ disgraces Paul Kwabena after his dismissal

Following Odifour's dismissal, IBJ explained that the major reason he was sacked was because of alleged promiscuity.

IBJ also opened up on certain questionable behaviours reportedly exhibited by Odifour, which management found disturbing, including a claim that he was driving customers of the media house away. Then Oheneni Adazoa was on leave and sat on the matter to seek a solution upon her return to work.

Viewers of Sompa Nkommo were assured of his comeback, but to date, he has not been reinstated on the programme.

His recent videos show him sitting as a panellist on a show on Ghanaman TV and even hosting his show on the television network.

In the latest development, IBJ has asked viewers to be patient since plans are underway to bring Odifour back onto the show.
