Ghanaian rapper Edem, known in private life as Denning Edem Hotor, and his wife Stacey Osekre Hotor, have welcomed a new baby.

The new baby is a girl who has already been given the name Eliana Nayram Hotor.

It is not known when Eliana was born but the rapper announced her birth on social media on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, with a photo.

The photo has Eliana wrapped in white cloth and sleeping in her mother's arm. The mother smiled at the sleeping baby.

Sharing the photo, Edem revealed the daughter's name while welcoming her to the world.

"Welcome Eliana Nayram Hotor @eli.yram ❤️ @griddlekitchen ," the caption to the read.

Edem's announcement and photo has got many of his followers taking to the comment section of the post to congratulate he and his wife.

Dancehall star Stonebwoy (stonebwoyb) was among those congratulating Edem and he said:

"Congratulations ."

Beatmaker Mix Master Garzy (mastergarzy) also congratulated Edem:

"Congratulations king."

sena_tsikata described the birth of the child as a blessing:
