Environmental NGOs are raising concerns about the growing presence of petrochemical industry lobbyists at talks to forge a global treaty to combat plastic pollution. - 'Here to listen' - The International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) confirmed they had 136 delegates at the talks representing the plastic, petrochemical and chemical manufacturing industries.

Brazil's state-owned oil company Petrobras posted a hefty net profit of $4.7 billion in the second quarter, recovering sharply from net losses in the same period last year, the company said Thursday. Petrobras reported a net profit of $6 billion in the first quarter, a 48.5 percent increase year on year.
