Nana Akufo-Addo, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party has won the polls in the Jaman North Constituency of the Brong-Ahafo Region.

The Jaman North constituency had their election period postponed by 24 hours members of the National Democratic Congress raised some concerns about the voters register.
An emergency meeting between the political parties and the District Security Council called for the postponement of the elections, but the move was contested by the Head of Communications for the Electoral Commission.

Regardless, the elections in the constituency did not take place on Wednesday, but was postponed to Thursday.
Following the final results, Nana Addo has emerged the winner with 14, 288 votes followed by John Mahama with 13, 007 votes.
At this time, the Electoral Commission is still yet to declare the full official results and the winner of the 2016 general elections.
