Greenpeace says clothes sold by Shein break EU chemicals rules

Clothing items sold by Asian e-commerce giant Shein contain dangerous chemicals at levels well in excess of EU rules, Greenpeace charged in a report published on Thursday. Greenpeace Germany said 18 clothing items out of 56 that it sent for testing "contained dangerous chemicals that exceed the limits in the EU's REACH chemical regulation, sometimes severely".

Germany's Lufthansa on Thursday expressed an interest for a stake in TAP Air Portugal, joining Air France-KLM in the race for part of the carrier which is set to be privatised. Air France-KLM said Wednesday it had also formally expressed its interest to take a stake in TAP. IAG group, which includes British Airways and Iberia, has also previously said it is keen on taking a stake.
