Owusu Worae reacts to Etornam's GMB win
Reacting to Etornam's Owusu Worae, TV3's Head of Entertainment News, showered praises on the young, describing her as a historymaker.
According to him, Etornam, by her win, had cemented the Volta Region's place as one of the most formidable in terms of the GMB.
"Representatives of the Volta Region have always excelled at the GMB, and Etornam was not an exception. Her win on Saturday night made her the third contestant from Volta to win, after Emefa in 2012 and Selorm in 2025. It is historic in the sense that it helps her region to equal the Central Region's three wins."
Worae, who has led his station's coverage of Ghana's Most Beautiful pageant, pointed out that Etornam had been consistent and deserved her crown.
"In every such pageant, the result may not please some people. In this case, some believed Ashanti Region's Sika stood a chance because she mostly had big votes. However, I believe Etornam edged it with her consistency and her performance at the grand finale, which was highly acclaimed by the judges on the night."
