Ghanaian YouTuber De God Son TV shared a video that showed the talented rapper all grown up and now working as a coconut seller.
The video began with a man confronting a coconut seller while another person filmed.
The man identified the coconut seller as Tutulapato, but the rap star seemed agitated and denied he was the one.
This led to an exchange of words between them as Tutulapato insisted they should stop filming him and moved towards the one holding the camera.
De God Son TV discussed the young star's career and wondered what could have brought him to such a level despite the stardom he enjoyed.
The Instagram video of the moment is below.
De Godson TV's video was posted by the BBC Ghana account on Instagram on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, amid a recent push by Tutulapato to promote a new song titled ‘Kom Kom’.
It’s unclear if the video is real or staged as a promotional tactic.
Below is an Instagram video of Tutulapato demonstrating his talent.
Speaking with YEN.com.gh, communications and international marketing specialist Emmanuel Bonney said the video could be a 'smart' publicity stunt.
"Tutulapato’s viral video of allegedly selling coconuts, surfacing just as he promotes his new single “Kom Kom,” could either be a smart publicity stunt or a genuine reflection of the struggles young talents face in sustaining music careers; in both cases, it has reignited public attention, stirred emotion and nostalgia, and successfully placed him back in the cultural conversation," he said.
