Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay, is a Ghanaian media personality, entrepreneur, producer, public speaker, and women's advocate. She is best known for the production of the popular television series, Afia Schwarzenegger and Cocoa Brown. She is also the host of the controversial talk show, The Delay Show, where she interviews celebrities and public figures.
Early life and education
Delay was born on June 25, 1982, in Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
She attended Aburi Girls' Senior High School and Methodist University College Ghana.
At the young age of 17, in the year 1999, she embarked on her broadcasting journey as a presenter at Life FM in Nkawkaw.
Career and achievements
- Delay moved to Top Radio in Accra in 2005, where she hosted the mid-morning show until 2007.
- She then joined Oman FM in 2007, where she stayed until 2016.
- She started her own television program, The Delay Show, in 2008, on TV3. The show features candid interviews with celebrities and public figures on various topics.
- In 2011, she wrote and produced the household television series, Afia Schwarzenegger, starring media personality Afia Schwarzenegger. The series was a hit and ran for six seasons until 2016.
