She comes from the Sisaala tribe in the Upper West Region in North Ghana. The actress is the fourth-born in her family of 5 children. Her parents are the late Rtd. Major Boduong and Tina Boduong.
She attended Nyhiaeso International School and Martyrs of Uganda Basic School for her primary education and later joined Accra Girls Senior High School. She later joined Ghana's premier tertiary institution, the University of Ghana in Legon, to pursue a diploma in theatre, music, and dance.
