Van Vicker (Joseph Van Vicker) was born Joseph van Vicker on August 1, 1977, in Accra, Ghana. He was raised by a Liberian/Ghanaian mother and a Dutch father. Unfortunately, he lost his father when he was six years old.
Education
He had his secondary education at Mfantsipim School. He completed Mfantsipim in 1995 but could not proceed to the university due to financial difficulties in his family.
He finally bagged his Bachelor's degree in 2021 after studying Strategic Communication at the African University of Communications (AUCC).
One year later, he added a Master's degree in Communications from the same school.
In early 2023, he started a Bachelor of Law degree from Wisconsin International University College.
Career
Van Vicker's TV career began in 1999 as a radio presenter at Groove 106.3 FM. He also worked as a TV presenter on TV stations such as TV3 Ghana between 1997 and 1999 and Metro TV between 2000 and 2004.
