RTP Awards 2021: Abeiku Santana, McBrown, Serwaa Amihere, MzGee, Others Win + Full List Of Winners
- Abeiku Santana won the ultimate award at the 2021 RTP Awards which came off on Saturday, November 6
- Santana pipped Nana Ama McBrown, Afia Pokuaa 'Vim Lady', Countryman Songoo, and others to win
- It was a good night for Despite Media as McBrown, Akosua Ago Aboagye, and other staff also won in different categories
- Serwaa Amihere, MzGee, and Okyeame Quophi, were among the winners from other media houses

The 2021 Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards came off at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra on Saturday, November 6.
The night which happened to be the 11th edition saw Okay FM's Abeiku Santana emerge as the overall RTP Personality o the Year.
Other big winners for the night included Nana Ama McBrown. Even though she lost out to Santana for the main award, McBrown took home the TV Female Presenter of the Year award while her McBrown Kitchen won the TV Cooking/Culinary Programme of the Year.

Generally, it was a good night for Despite Media as many of their staff and programmes won awards with the company winning the Media Group of the Year award.

Abeiku deserves it
Reacting to Abeiku Santana's win, entertainment writer Owusu Worae expressed happiness for the Okay FM presenter's feat.
According to Worae, who is the head of entertainment news at TV3, Santana deserved the award more than anyone on the list.
"He is versatile. He does radio and television hosting effortlessly and makes it look easy.
"Moreover, I am happy because his win s a good omen for journalists and broadcasters in the entertainment space that we can always win the ultimate," he told YEN.com.gh.

Her apology follows recent allegations she made about the broadcaster on social media.
