In the next 72 hours, Ghana will be experiencing a dramatic change in the country's administrative make up.
This development follows the election of Ghana's main opposition leader, Nana Akuffo Addo, as president-elect.
In barely two days, Ghana will:
1. See President John Dramani Mahama make his final state of the nations address to parliament. This will see the president touch on his legacies over his four year tenure.
2. Parliament will see a massive change in its sitting - the majority NDC will relinquish their seats to the minority NPP. This means that the NPP will now be the majority in parliament.
3. Parliament is expected to sit till midnight on the 6th of January to usher in the new parliament.
4. Nana Akuffo-Addo will also b inaugurated as president of Ghana come January 7th.
